Hey there! MUN and the benefits for students who choose to take part in a MUN. MUN stands for Model United Nations, also known as Model UN. It is an educational simulation and/or academic competition in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. It is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations. This activity takes place at MUN conferences, which is usually organized by a high school or college MUN club. At the end of most conferences, outstanding delegates in each committee are recognized and given an award certificate. Benefits of participating in a MUN ➡️Students get to meet and interact with new people ➡️MUN is a great place to enhance public speaking skills and overcome the fear of public speaking ➡️MUN obligates every participant to understand the global issues and their opinion may contribute to solving the problems that affect our planet today. ➡️MUN teaches students how to be a good diplomat with an increase in their diplomacy and negotiation skill. ➡️Students can use the MUN as a source to develop confidence and leadership skills by participating in multiple MUN’s. ➡️Lastly, students can leverage their MUN experience and network to get into college. Hello Nitya,

Greetings from Univariety!

Good to know that you are interested in Aerospace engineering in the Netherlands.

Aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering is mostly the same and the scope is beyond imagination both in India and abroad. Aerospace engineering is a broad branch from science dealing with many aspects like technical division, aircraft body design, engine design, safety measure design, and many more.

Aerospace engineers design primarily aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. In addition, they test prototypes to make sure that they function according to design.

Though aerospace and aeronautical engineering have the same principles, there is a critical distinction between designing for air and space. In short, aerospace is a branch of engineering that has two sub-branches. One is aeronautical engineering, and another one is astronautical engineering.

For your Information: It is not necessary to learn the Dutch language to survive in the Netherlands since most people can communicate in English.

Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and all MSc programmes at TU Delft are taught entirely in English.

You have to choose a specialization after completing the BSc programme, when you decide on your MSc. During your BSc, you have some freedom to choose your own minor in the third year, apart from this all your courses are mandatory.

You can apply to the University without your final grades if you send your most recent list of grades. However, your final secondary school diploma needs to be send to the International Office in June.

Unfortunately it is not possible to apply without the results(IELTS or TOEFL) of your proficiency in English so make sure that you plan the English test as soon as possible so that you have the results before the application deadline.

Application procedure: Please go through this link for complete application process
https://www.tudelft.nl/en/education/admission-and-application/bsc-international-diploma/application-procedure/
You are required to pay a € 100 application fee.

Eligibility Requirements:
Standard XII diploma (Academic Stream) All India Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or (CISCE) with at least 75% in 5 subjects and you have to fulfill the Proficiency in English for admission to the Bachelor programmes of TU Delft.

  • A TOEFL iBT with an overall band score of at least 90. TU Delft does not accept TOEFL MyBest scores; the required scores should be obtained in one single test.
  • IELTS (academic version) with an overall band score of at least 6.5

Intake: Starts from September.

Scholarships: TU Delft does not offer scholarships for any of its bachelor programmes. For MSc programmes, however, there are several scholarships available.

Duration of the course: 3 years

Fees: https://www.tudelft.nl/en/education/practical-matters/tuition-fee-finances/

However, as per your request, I have mentioned the fee structure below in INR for your information.

Tution fees per year: 12,96,590 INR

Overview costs: (Tuition fee+Living costs+Residence permit+TU Delft housing fee) is 23,47,275 INR per year

Hope the above provided information will be helpful to you.

Hello Dhruv,

Greetings from Univariety!

Good to know that you are interested in investment banking and portfolio management.

An investment banker often works for a financial institution or bank and his main objective is to fulfill the financial goal of the client whereas, a portfolio manager manages a group of investments, Stock, bonds, etc, They are also responsible for monitoring the investment options which mean, certain functions and responsibilities coincide in both cases.

If you are interested in commercial banking or insurance go for FRM. This gives you a strong understanding of the underlying risk management concepts.

If you are interested in investment banking or corporate finance then go for CFA. It focuses primarily on knowledge and expertise applicable to the investment and management profession and the core area is ‘Finance’

If you are interested in an audition, taxation then choose CA. A chartered accountant is required to advise the company on matters concerned with finance and taxation and the core area is ‘Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Law, Finance’.

In my opinion, I would advise choosing CA+CFA is the best combination which covers all the aspects. But if your interest is risk management rather than accountancy, then choose CFA+FRM.

Please visit the following link to know more about investment banking as a career.

With over a decade of experience in dealing with students and parents, Univariety found the GAP and collaborated with University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension to create an online program for India’s first generation of Career Counsellors. The Global Career Counsellor program is more than just a counselling course. It is a unique program that has been created to equip individuals with blended learning through world-class instructors, skills and practical training to become a Career Counsellor. What is Career Counselling?

Career Counselling is the process of guiding individuals towards the right career path. Through Career Counselling, a student can overcome the uncertainties around his/her career, the lack of knowledge on different career options, any disagreement with his/her parents, and come closer to fulfilling his/her dreams. It is a life-long process that influences a student’s career development and helps them select the right career option by analysing their interests, abilities, values, personality, background, and circumstances. The Global Career Counsellor program is an online course that equips individuals with the right knowledge and skill to help make informed decisions.

Who Needs Career Counselling?

Currently, our government requires at least one career counsellor in every school. India needs more than 1.5 million career counsellors to cater to 315 million students. Therefore, every child who goes to school requires a career guidance counsellor. If children want a break from conventional career options and want to create their own lives by not following traditional education, they must consult a career guidance specialist. They can learn a lot more about themselves and make a more informed decision about their careers with the help of career counselling. In short, students who are unable to identify their strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, capabilities and are confused about which career to choose require career counselling.

What is Meant by a Career Counsellor?

A career counsellor is a trained professional who guides students towards the right career path. They are the professionals who identify the strengths, weaknesses, interests of a child, analyze their abilities with the help of different tools, assessments, & their experiences and come out with a suitable career path. To become a career counsellor in India, one needs to be qualified enough to understand the techniques and methods of career counselling. One can start practising career counselling on their own, start a setup or intern under a renowned professional or join an organization/school and the list goes on.

What is the Role of a Career Counsellor?

A career counsellor is a professional who determines past data & information of a client, analyzes them and accordingly suggests a suitable career path. A career guidance counsellor is responsible for understanding various factors about students like their interests, strengths, weaknesses, and showing them the right career direction. The role of a career counsellor can be described as:

• Helps students to determine their interests and abilities.

• Counsels individual learners and tell them various ways to develop their skills.

• Tells students different ways to overcome academic scores issues.

• Crafts a suitable plan for students to fulfil their career objectives.

• Conducts various career services programs and events to help students/parents, and more.

Did you know that just 8% of students receive career guidance in schools and almost 86% of high school students are concerned about their higher education options?
